6th Grade Study Skills Class (Period 1)

Course Description

Welcome to the 6th Grade Study Skills Class
 
6th grade will have the Study Skills Class every Monday afternoon from 1:50-2:30.  
 
Weekly lessons in Study Skills will include:  how our brain works, how memory is formed, learning styles, note-taking, test taking strategies, managing test anxiety, time management, etc.

Website Review Project

PROJECT - Website Reviews - this was assigned on February 23, 2026 and students were given some in-class time to work on the project.  Most of the project will need to be completed as homework.  Students have 2 weeks to complete a review of 5 websites (individually assigned pages 3-6), and an additional more in-depth review (pages 50/51) of one website of their choice.  The entire packet should remain stapled together and turned in on Monday, March 9, 2026.
