Accreditation

St. Brendan Catholic School awarded the highest term for accreditation for the fourth time (2022).

WCEA

In March of 2003, St. Brendan Catholic School completed its first accreditation evaluation and earned a six-year accreditation term from Washington Catholic Education Association (WCEA). Every six years there after, we evaluate and perform a comprehensive examination of the following areas:

    • Catholic Identity
    • Organization
    • Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment
    • Support Services
    • Resources (Enrollment, Finance, Development)

A Strategic Plan is formulated to ensure we continually meet and exceed the expectations set forth.  As a result, St. Brendan Catholic School has been awarded highest term for Accreditation for a third time!

WCEA accredits Catholic elementary and secondary schools in nine western states (26 (arch) dioceses) and the US Territory of Guam. WCEA co-accredits and is in partnership with three Regional agencies (WASC, NAAS, NCA CASI) and two private agencies (CAIS and HAIS). WCEA began in 1957 in San Francisco and has a long and successful history of assisting school improvement through the accreditation process.
