Elementary School
At St. Brendan Catholic School, we foster a culture for curiosity, growth mindset, and academic excellence. We cultivate life long learners and will guide your child toward self-advocacy, personal responsibility, and to live in Catholic faith and values.
Class Structure
Our K-5 classrooms are single grade, self contained classrooms. Elementary grade levels have a classroom capacity of about 25 students. Each classroom has one full time or part time instructional aide, based off the children's need.
Curriculum
Our teachers utilize curriculum that maximize student potential for all learners. The K-5 teachers are responsible for teaching the majority of academic subjects. Those subjects include: English Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, and Religion. The children have enhanced enrichment programs that includes; Physical Education, Library, Music and Art, and Technology.
Classroom Enrichment
We offer field trips, which enhance you child's learning experience and applications. We attend weekly Mass together to continue growing in our faith and understanding of God's love. Throughout the year your child will participate in various community projects, such as Blessing Bags for the Homeless, Diaper Bag Project and a Coat Drive.
