5th Grade Homework Assignments

Math: Pgs 47-48

 

ELA: Finish alphabetical spelling (some finished in class)

 

Rel: St. John xxiii sheet

Math:  DUE to MAP testing going late today, we were unable to do previously scheduled math lesson.  There is a worksheet that went home that goes over place value.  

 

Spelling:  Test tomorrow for those that did not get 100% on today's practice test.  Practice tests were handed back to students with the words they needed to study.

 

S.s.:  Finish the USA map questions.  Challenge questions are optional, students will get extra credit for them.

Math: Pgs 33-34

 

S.S.: 2 Map questions for Wednesday (whole packet due Fri - bonus is extra credit)

 

ELA: Spelling -->Write spelling words 3 times each

No Math Today

 

ELA:  8 Sentences using 8 of the this week's spelling words.  Most students finished this in class.

 

S.S.:  Finish Monday and Tuesday Map questions for the USA Physical Map.  This packet is due on Friday.  Bonus is extra credit.  Some students finished the questions for Monday and Tuesday today.

Math: Pg 21-22

 

ELA: (This is only for those that were unable to finish during center time today)

-Spelling sort assignment

-Possessive Nouns

Some students were able to finish these two assignments in class today.  They wrote 'All Done' in their planners if this was the case.

 

If they didn't finish, this is what is due tomorrow:

Reading: What Makes a Hero Page (this side only, Scholastic News assignment)

 

ELA: Finish one side that has sentences that need to be corrected and rewritten.

Remember to bring in your Me Bag if you didn't get a chance to today.

 

If you were unable to finish your Scholastic News Worksheet, please make sure you finish that tonight and turn it in tomorrow.

 

Tomorrow if individual picture day.  Please make sure to be in FULL Uniform.
