Welcome to the 5th Grade SOS - Student Organizational Skills Class!The SOS Class is an introduction to basic work management and organizational skills you'll need to do well in school.The benefits of being an organized student include:* Better Grades* Less Stress* More Free Time* Boost to Self-Confidence5th Grade will have the SOS Class every Wednesday morning from 8:30-9:10.Weekly lessons in organizational skills will include: organizing a binder, using a planner, tips for working with others on a group project, self-advocating with teachers, note-taking skills, writing skills, homework habits, monitoring grades and missing assignments, etc.

Homework assigned today:
(1) Students must choose a calendaring system (Planner): some options are (1) buy a calendar like at the Dollar Store, (2) print out a calendar, or (3) turn the blue Assignment Book into an actual calendaring system (planner) by writing in all the dates for the rest of the school year.
(2) Studenets are to record important school, class, and personal dates into their calendaring system for the rest of the school year
(3) Students are to keep their calendaring system inside their Binder and bring the calendaring system (planner) to class next Wednesday DUE NOVEV 13th
