This week's spelling pattern is all about words that end in "Y" when using the singular version and then changing it to i (es) when using the plural form.

Ruby Bridges Reading - Only answer questions 1, 4, & 5 on the back.  Make sure to underline or circle the text proof from the reading to answer the question.

Reading:  Work on T-shirt book report project (DUE 2/10)

 

Writing:  If you didn't finish the 2nd paragraph of your formal letter in class today, please make sure you complete this tonight. In total,  you should know what museum you are writing to and have your introductory paragraph and 2nd paragraph done of your formal letter.  4-6 sentences in each paragraph min.

 

In case you need it, here are the notes from the board:

Introduction:

 - Who are you

-Why are you writing

 

Second Paragraph:

-Request in formation wanting from museum

-Include what kind of info/resources you are wanting (ex. clips on youtube, first hand accounts of people on the trails going out west, etc).

-What questions you have (Pick 3 from the first page of your writing packet, the ones that began with "Who", "What", "Where", etc).

Practice test is Thursday.

If you get 100%, you won't need to take the test on Friday.
