Dear Families,
Thank you again for your support and patience with our e-learning day last Friday. The kids did well and I appreciate your help and support!
This week in phonics and spelling we are focusing on words with er, ir, and ur. The Target Strategies in reading are making inferences and monitoring and clarifying to increase comprehension. The Target Skill is using chronological order to write a timeline or biography. In math, we will complete the chapter on counting money. This was a very short chapter but we’ll review and practice counting mixed change throughout the remainder of the year. In religion, the kids are learning about the Liturgy of the Word.
There is a Family STEM project coming home today. Please look for it in your child’s folder.
REMINDERS:
Friday, March 13th: No school; Teacher Inservice
Please return Caldecott books if you’re finished with them.
Library books are due every Wednesday.
Family letters are due on the first day of the school week.
Reading Logs are due on the last day of the school week.
