Meet Ms. Bell
Welcome families to another year at Saint Brendan! I am incredibly excited for this 3rd grade journey.
I am native to the great Northwest and no stranger to the Catholic faith, born and raised in Everett where I attended Immaculate Conception/ Our Lady Of Perpetual Help with my sisters until high school. In May of 2016, I graduated from William Woods University in Fulton, MO with my B.S. in Elementary Education, B.S. in Equestrian Science, with a minor in Equine Business Administration. After completing my studies, I worked as a horse trainer and riding instructor in Washington, and later in Nevada. In 2018, I travelled back to Missouri and worked at my Alma Mater WWU(not of the Bellingham variety) while completing my Masters Degree. Over the Christmas holiday of 2019, I drove back across the country with my black Labrador Jaxon, and a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction.
I began working as a substitute teacher in the public schools, then shortly after I became a substitute here at St. Brendan. I also taught Science, Technology, and Engineering at an education center while settling back into the PNW. I continue to train horses and teach riding lessons alongside my long time mentor in the Snohomish County area.
I am an avid sports fan! My favorite teams include: Seattle Seahawks, New Orleans Saints, Seattle Mariners, Boston Red Sox.
My dog and I love spending time in the rain outside, particularly the forest where we can wander in peace.
